Day 1: Arrival in Arusha, Welcome to Tanzania

Destination: Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by a Jungle Peak Adventure representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. The day is yours to relax, recover from your flight, and prepare for the safari adventure ahead.

Destination: Tarangire National Park.

About Tarangire National Park:
Known as the Land of Giants, Tarangire is famed for its massive elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and scenic landscapes. The Tarangire River draws a remarkable diversity of wildlife, especially during the dry season.
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire (approx. 2.5-hour drive). Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, and perhaps elusive leopards resting in the acacia trees.

After breakfast, head north with a game drive en route. In the afternoon, witness herds gathering at the riverbanks and possibly catch the famous Mara River crossing a raw display of nature’s survival instincts.
